Are you Interested in learning the basics of green woodworking or maybe you have a project you need a hand with?  Aaron is keen to share his knowledge and passion and offers courses and private tuition in his beautiful woodland workshop, overlooking the river Findhorn on Logie Estate. Spend a relaxing day in the woods, learning new skills such as traditional "Green Woodworking" techniques using hand tools and locally sourced hardwood. If there is something in particular that you would like to create, Aaron would love to help you turn this into a reality.

Things to do in the Cairngorms - woodworking weekend course with Aaron Sterritt

Having recently completed one of his shrink pot making courses, we can highly recommend booking – a great opportunity to learn a new skill and meet new people in a stunning setting.  It’s such a great feeling to get the creative juices flowing and make something with your hands and Aaron’s course allows plenty of time to create a piece of your own that you can take home and use.

Discover Cairngorms - things to do near Aviemore - woodworking weekend course with Aaron Sterritt. Logie Steading, Forres.

Most of the courses are based at Logie Steading, near the town of Forres in Moray or at the beautiful Dell of Abernethy in Nethybridge and private tuition starts at £170 per day (plus material costs). Courses start at 10am and finish around 5pm each day. All tools and materials are provided along with tea /coffee and biscuits to keep your energy levels up but you are required to bring your own lunch.
