Best Local Places for Brunch

Whether you need somewhere to fuel-up before heading outdoors or you’re just looking for a nice spot to catch up with friends, we’ve gathered the best places for some morning scran in the local area.

1.  The Barn, Rothiemurchus

During the pandemic, The Barn became a much-needed takeaway spot, with a hatch located opposite the Rothiemurchus Farm Shop. Popular for freshly made morning rolls and excellent coffee, it now has a large indoor seated area which is open from 10am. The morning rolls are served all day and start at £3.50 (depending on how many fillings you cram in). Check out their website for up-to-date opening times.
